About the Event
The Kahawai Point Coastal Classic is a community run with a purpose: to celebrate a place like no other. Bordered by the Taihiki and Waiuku Rivers, Kahawai Point offers an easy, unhurried way of life that makes it quietly one of the best places in New Zealand to call home.
This event is for everyone. Serious runners chasing a competitive time. Families out for a Sunday morning together. First-timers who have never entered a race in their life. The Coastal Classic is
designed to welcome all of them and to send them home with a story worth telling.
This is the inaugural edition. The first chapter of what we
intend to make an annual fixture. Aan event that grows in scale and reputation, that people plan their calendar around, and that becomes genuinely synonymous with the Kahawai Point name.

On Manukau Harbour or on the Waiuku or Taihiki Rivers indulge in your love for boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, walking, photography or painting, or simply sharing a view.
